Walrus Banjo is one of the transformations in Banjo-Kazooie on which Banjo may transform into. If Banjo is in this form, the cold water cannot harm him. This transformation can also be used to get into Wozza's cave, where he can get an Empty Honeycomb, although he must return to regular Banjo to recover the Jinjo in the cave. He can also compete in Boggy's first sled race.

Unlike the other transformations in Banjo-Kazooie, Walrus Banjo is not required to solve a puzzle in Gruntilda's Lair.
