How do we know that Showdown Town is part of the Isle o' Hags? I always got the impression that it was just kind of a dimensional hub created by L.O.G. specifically to house his video game factory, from which you could travel to any location in any video game you want - namely, Spiral Mountain at the end of the game. I doubt that Showdown Town is on the Isle O' Hags. Whether it's simply somewhere else on the same continent is another question. My opinion is that L.O.G. moved his factory to Showdown Town so he could oversee the BK vs. Grunty challenge without having to go to his "home world" to make games, although it's not too farfetched that the whole thing is a creation. It's definately still in the Jiggy Universe, though. Toomai Glittershine The Stats Guy 21:42, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Does it really look like the health icon?[]

I think, if you turn your head to the right, it looks like Grunty. Terrydactyland is the eye. Also, I agree the Showdown Town is not here. Due to the fact that you have to warp to Spiral Mountain (whereas, in other games you had to walk)

Spiral Mountain[]

Upon close scrutiny, one may come to the conclusion that Spiral Mountain and Grunty's Lair are not, in fact, part of the greater Isle O' Hags area. Due to SM's inconclusive placement on the Cloud Cuckooland view, and the Nuts & Bolts information post stating that the tunnel "once LED TO" the Isle, one could argue that they are not even right next to each other.

Although this is a minor detail, further evidence includes the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version of Spiral Mountain, where we cannot see Jinjo Village, Wooded Hollow, or anything familiar of that sort directly beyond the valley that the Mountain rests in.

Contradiction may lie in the offical Nintendo Power magazine map, but I'm not sure if Rare supervised the creation of this map.

Thoughts?
