Hammerhead Beach was the beta name for Treasure Trove Cove in Banjo-Kazooie. It is commonly and widely thought to be one of the beta levels that Rare did not end up releasing. In an early version of a Nintendo Power magazine, Nintendo was showing a photo of Treasure Trove Cove but referenced to it as Hammerhead Beach. This was why at the time people were thinking this was a level and that it was the only beta one that was not reproduced into another game unlike the other ones. The name was later changed to Treasure Trove Cove to match the names of other worlds in Banjo-Kazooie which used some form of Alliteration.
