“Thanks, earthling!”
Alphette, Banjo-Tooie

Alphette is a member of the alien family that is encountered in Banjo-Tooie and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Alphette has green eyes, is dressed in a blue alien suit, and has a yellow Jinjo doll.

Along with the rest of the alien children, Alphette was first encountered after their spacecraft crash landed in Hailfire Peaks. With help from Banjo and Kazooie, Alphette was reunited with the rest of the alien family.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, it is revealed that the alien family returned to their home in the Terrarium of Terror.

Games[]

Banjo-Tooie[]

In order to get a second Jiggy from the alien family, Banjo and Kazooie must rescue the three alien offspring after Mumbo Jumbo uses his Life Force spell to revive Alph after their ship crash-lands on the Icy Side of Hailfire Peaks. Each of the alien children, including Alphette, remain hidden until they sense Alph's presence, after which they appear and can be rescued.

Alphette is found under a sheet of ice located on the far side of the mountain, overlooking the cold sea. Kazooie must Bill Drill the ice sheet to free Alphette. Fortunately, unlike Betette, Alphette is found alive and immediately returns to Alph after being freed.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts[]

The alien family appears in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts in cryogenic capsules in the Terrarium of Terror. The aliens live in an underwater dome in the Terrarium, however one them is separated from the rest of the family, and is found at the very top of the level. The capsules that the aliens sleep in can be smashed open, although they remain unresponsive even once they're freed. Strangely, only five of the aliens appear in this game, and the sixth one is never mentioned.

The mission "Family Misfortunes" involves bringing the solitary alien at the top of the Terrarium down to be with the rest of the family. This mission is hosted by "Boggy", who believes himself to be the family's long lost cousin.

Trivia[]

  • Alphette is seen holding a yellow Jinjo doll, which is later part of a question in the Tower of Tragedy quiz.
